Bluebell class had a wonderful day visiting Hemingford Manor, the setting for the Green Knowe series of books. Our English topic was really brought to life by seeing the house and artefacts mentioned in The River at Green Knowe. The day was rounded off by a trip to St James' in Hemingford Grey, where the children learnt about the history of the church. The children were excellent ambassadors for our school throughout the whole day.
