BBC Radio Cambridge brought Pudsey along to spend time in the classes - what a lovely surprise it was for the children.
Amazon Drone Competition
What an amazing achievement for Thomas and Tayla who were runners up in this competition. The competition involved drawing a model delivery drone and children had to provide a brief explanation of what their drone, if given the capability, would deliver. Children were encouraged to come up with creative and heart-warming ideas that help people. Representatives from Amazon came to the school yesterday to present the children with prizes of STEM books and resources to the value of £100.
Thomas and Tayla we are all really proud of you.

We would like to thank Maree from ScootSmart, a scooter training scheme delivered by school volunteers and Cambridgeshire County Council’s Road Safety team for coming in today for our road safety assembly and scooter awareness training. In the assembly we had a surprise visitor! Children in years 3/4 who participated really enjoyed learning correct procedures for road safety on scooters, even under the freezing conditions.
What a fantastic day everyone had with sculptor Darcy Turner who visited us for the day on Wednesday.
Thankyou to everyone for the donations of newspapers that made this day possible.
The Royal British Legion – Poppy Appeal
We will be selling poppies in school from Thursday 3 November. If you would like your child to buy a poppy please send them to school with a minimum of 20p. There are poppy stickers and traditional poppies available (no pins are supplied). The poppies will be brought round to the children in the classroom during the day for them to buy. They will also be available from the school office at the beginning and end of the day.
