Dear Parents and Carers
School Trip – Cambridge – Thursday 23 February 2017
We have just received a call from the Botanical Gardens in Cambridge to say there may be a possibility that the gardens will close tomorrow due to the forecasted high winds. They will not be able to let us know until 9:00 am tomorrow if this is the case.
We have decided, after trying hard to make alternative arrangements, that if the gardens are closed we will have to unfortunately cancel the trip as the Polar Museum is only very small and can only take one class at a time. All monies will be refunded.
Please send your children into school ready to go on the trip in the hope that it can still go ahead.
If the trip is cancelled we will stay at school and have a day of fun activities and a picnic lunch together.
We apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause but let’s hope the wind passes us by.

Severe Weather Conditions
As the weather has got colder recently, please remember to check the school website, Facebook page and the radio for information about school closures – information is on the Parents, useful information page.
Please ensure your children have the appropriate clothing in school such as coats, hats, gloves, boots and scarves if the weather is bad.
A-Life visited us for our sports day and provided a fun packed time for all. A-Life visit schools and provide different workshops for every need – visit their website www.a-life.co.uk . The children have been set a challenge – please help them to complete it. The information leaflet is attached below with all the information required.
Thanks to all who supported the Christmas Bazaar and the gift making afternoon. The bazaar raised around £1100 and the gift making £112 – fabulous given the number of children we have at school!!
