Severe Weather Conditions

As the weather has got colder recently, please remember to check the school website, Facebook page and the radio for information about school closures – information is on the Parents, useful information page.

Please ensure your children have the appropriate clothing in school such as coats, hats, gloves, boots and scarves if the weather is bad.

A-Life visited us for our sports day and provided a fun packed time for all. A-Life visit schools and provide different workshops for every need – visit their website www.a-life.co.uk . The children have been set a challenge – please help them to complete it. The information leaflet is attached below with all the information required.

Thanks to all who supported the Christmas Bazaar and the gift making afternoon. The bazaar raised around £1100 and the gift making £112 – fabulous given the number of children we have at school!!

A happy new year to you all! I hope you had an enjoyable break and that Santa was kind to you all!!

The children have returned very smart and ready to learn and have been introduced to their new topic – Extreme Environments.

It is lovely to welcome Mrs Wiltshire back to the staff – she will be working on Mondays and Tuesdays in Stars Class.

What a lovely way to end the day

A very merry christmas and a happy new year to all!!

We all had a fabulous Christmas dinner today - thanks go to our Catering Manager Jo and her helpers for all their hard work!! it was a thumbs up from the children.

Heart Radio, Cambridge - ‘Sleeps ‘til Santa’ It feels like ages ago that Heart Radio visited Earith Primary to record the children singing ‘5 Sleeps ‘til Santa’, but we will at last be able to hear the children on the radio at 8.30 am next Tuesday, 20 December. We would like to invite the children to come into school earlier on that day so we can gather in the hall to listen to the broadcast together. The children will need to arrive at 8.15 am so we can get settled in good time for the broadcast. We will give the children a drink and small snack. This will be an exciting start to our last day of term and to end the day please join us for Carols around the tree, starting at 14.30.

What a busy week!!! today was Christmas jumper and Christmas party day - we had such a fun day and have raised £56 at the last count with hopefully more to come in next week towards Save the Children.
