Welcome back, we hope you all have had a lovely summer holiday!!

The work on becoming part of the Active Learning Trust is underway and we will keep you informed of the progress being made once we have any news.

Whilst this is all underway we have made the following arrangements for the Autumn Term 2017:

Mrs Pritchard will be Executive Head here and be around for a day and a half a week and Miss Moore will take up the role of Head of School on a temporary basis working outside class for two days a week. Mrs Wiltshire will stay with us working two days a week and Mrs Pentney a very experienced practitioner, will join us for a term covering Mrs Williams’ maternity leave. Norwich City Football will continue to provide sports on a Wednesday.

The classes have new names for the new academic year and teachers are:

Owls class - Reception, Year 1 - Mrs Wiltshire Monday and Tuesday - Mrs Nicholls Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Squirrels class - Year 2,3,4 - Miss Moore - Monday, Thursday, Friday - Mrs Pentney Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hedgehogs class -Year 4,5,6  - Mrs Lawrence.

Mrs Simmonds has reverted to her maiden name and will now be Miss Moore.

Our website has been updated to reflect the changes and will be regularly updated throughout the year.

Below are activities and news from 2016/17

SUMMER - We would like to wish everyone a very happy summer holidays. Thank you to all who have helped throughout the year and for all the lovely gifts. School opens to pupils on Wednesday 6th September 2017.

Happy holidays

With the money they raised they had a trip out to Extreme 60 with swimming afterwards. They then entertained us with singing and dancing in assembly followed by presentation of leavers hoodies (kindly donated by FOES) and then lunch. An emotional assembly and we wish them every success in Year 7 and beyond.

What a perfect day with the weather. We started at 10.30 with a warm up from Alex, then proceeded with fun sports. At lunch time parents joined us and after we had the races (including Mums, Dads races). A fantastic turn out from you all. Thanks go to Alex Dawson for warming us all up, Jo in the kitchen for cooking a fabulous lunch, FOES for providing refreshments and to all staff that helped make this a wonderful, happy day.

As part of our Health Living week we were very lucky to have Deji Tobias a team GB athlete visit our school today. He has been with us all day and ran PE lessons with all the classes. He was an inspiration to all.

HEALTHY LIVING WEEK – Cooking.  What a fun packed day, the children prepared healthy food in classes this morning. Later in the afternoon parents were invited to watch the cook off between Mrs Lawrence and Mrs Watson, what a fantastic job they did under the pressure of 15minutes to cook a fabulous dish. After school parents tasted the delights that had been cooked in the morning. The children have had such a lovely day.

Thank you to School Food Showdown for such an entertaining afternoon, Mrs Nicholls for organising and all parents that attended.
