Recently our school councillors spoke to their classes about school safety. It was positive to know that all children knew who to turn to if they should have a problem.

Schoolsafety

Since coming back from Easter, our school councillors have been speaking to their classes to find out how lunchtimes and playtimes can be improved. Mylo has kindly typed up the results and presented them to Mrs Pritchard.

Thierry and Tabehre are also organising their powerpoint on lunchtimes to present to Mrs Pritchard soon.

Well done to everyone at school for taking part in our Sports Relief Zumba session. We raised over £400!

An amazing effort from staff, children, parents, and friends and family. Thank you.

Sportsrelief

Sport Relief 2016 will be kicking off in schools on Friday 18th March.

Earith Primary School (with the voluntary help of Tracy – the afterschool Zumba coach) has decided to get involved and help raise money for this incredible cause.

To do our bit and raise money we will be:

Taking sponsership to complete one full hour of ZUMBA!

on Friday 18th May

Children will need to wear a PE kit (shorts and t-shirt) for their Zumba workout.

They may then want a change of PE clothing, (including trousers and a jacket/jumper) for the remainder of the day.

Last term was a busy one raising lots of money for lots of charities!

This coming term, our councillors will be speaking to their classes to find out about school lunches and presenting it to Mrs Pritchard and Ms Coombes (our school cook). They will also be speaking to their classes to discuss their views on school and what improvements could be made. Sports Relief will also need planning so the school councillors have lots to get done and quickly. More information on Sports Relief to come soon.

School Councillors have decided to raise awareness and money for RNIB by wearing dots on Friday 23rd October.

All children (and staff) will be asked to wear dotty clothing to school and to make a donation (suggested donation £1).

We are all very excited for our dotty day!

Congratulations to our newely elected members.  We have already started work with the Macmillan coffee morning and will be keeping you updated.
