The childern have had another busy week and enjoyed Roald Dahl Day on Tuesday.
They listened to the story of The Enormous Crocodile and found out that his Clever Tricks were not so clever after all. The children used the powder paints to mix shades of green which they then used to paint their own crocodile. Some children had a go at making crocodiles with snapping jaws using spit pins to join them together.
In our maths work this week we have been looking at the order of numbers. The children have been busy making numbers to go up in the classroom.
The children have had a lovely start to the new school year. They have been busy exploring the new learning environment and are getting to know each other.
They have painted a self portarit to go on our welcome board.
We will have PE on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please make sure your child has a named PE kit inn school. Thank you.
We are looking forward to beginning our work on dinosaurs and we will be sharing lots of dinosaur stories. If your child has a story about dinsaurs at home that they would like to share with the class please send it in to school in their book bag.
