Owls have continued to learn more about the Great Fire and have been busy creating books to show all that they have found out about the events of 1666.  The children are confident  at explaining where the fire started and why it spead so quickly.  They can describe how the people of London tried to put the fire out.  This week we have been exploring further how we know about the fire of London and what sources of information are good historical sources.  they know that Samuel Pepys' Diary is important as it is an eye witness account.

On Tuesday the children were bakers and baked bread rolls and fire of London cakes -  I'm sure they were delicious.

In maths the children have been investigating halves and know that half means two equal parts of a whole.  They have been busy finding half of objects, shapes and amounts.  Well done Owls!
